Have you ever been hit at the same moment in time with numerous challenges of heart ache and despair that were life altering to you and your family? That occurred to me to the point in which, I lost my self-confidence, became anxious, depressed and was on the verge of a hopeless life. My family, my career, our home hung in the balance. You see everything I did in my life came with such ease, confidence and success, then 5 years ago after an encounter with God in the Colorado Mountains my world turned upside down and I didn’t understand why. For years I talked to numerous people, went to various Christian and non-christian counselors and psychologists, yet no one could help. It was the most hopeless feeling, I was looking for answers and searching for hope, but I couldn’t find it. Until in seeking help for our daughter who was struggling with issues did I find Grace Restoration Home, from the 1st moment that I sat down in a prayer session with my prayer partner, hope was restored, my eyes immediately were opened to the truth, it was as if the weight of my worries and oppressions had been lifted.
The difference was not in a clinical answer, it was not in medication, I did not find it from a psychologist, but I found it in hearing from God through my prayer sessions. I began to see the truth and not believe the lies of the enemy. My prayer partner patiently and lovingly brought me through the steps of understanding and realizing what true freedom from the challenges that I faced were. Here is the amazing thing about these prayer sessions, while you meet with your partner there is another partner outside as an intercessor, praying for you and seeking God’s word on what you are battling. At the end of your session a note is handed to you, a word of validation through scriptures from God. It is like a moment frozen in time when you finish your session and then read God’s intimate words to you. It is a confirmation of His presence and His intimate love for you.
Being a Christian for over 25 years I did not realize how the enemy had entered my life in a subtle way for me to be deceived by the lies of this world and keep me from having a true peace, hope and joy in my life. I strongly encourage anyone who is not living a life of Peace, Hope, and Joy to just have at least one meeting with the amazing people at the Grace Restoration Home, it will not only change your life but it will also begin to touch and change your family and friends lives in an amazing way as well. If you decide to take this adventurous journey I strongly encourage you to be Humble, Open and Vigilant in your search for the truth, in doing so you will experience True Freedom through Christ.
